First Communion Child Portrait Photoshoot
Sophia's mom approached me to let me know her daughter was having her First Communion in the Catholic Church and she wanted some photographs of her gorgeous daughter to commemorate the eventful moment in time.
She didn't want photography of the events taken on the day - she would take pictures of the actual moment herself - but wanted lovely portraits of her daughter taken at this monumental coming-of-age time in her life to be taken just after the event had taken place.
We found a stunning little chapel setting with a quiet, lovely little garden out front to take pictures in, and themed some of the photographs to be First Communion related with the help of the chapel and her rosary.
The rest of the photographs focused on her in her lovely dress, and with her perfectly curled and styled hair, complements to her mother's artistry.
Of course, no little girl should be in such a pretty dress without being asked to live out every little girl's fantasy of feeling like a princess.
And so I had to have her twirl and show off her lovely curls, and the beauty of these lovely moments simply cannot be put into words.
What a beautiful keepsake for her parents and for herself of such an memorable moment in her life.
